Alina Prokopenko is a pastry artist and food designer. Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, she began her career as a photographer before discovering a passion for food. Having an art history background, graduated from Ferrandi Paris she developed her disruptive vision in culinary arts through conceptual desserts.

Driven by a curiosity to innovate, she founded APRIS where she explores themes of unconscious, hidden desires, sensuality and approaches different media like video and performance.

Her work challenges the limits of the way we perceive food and encourages to experience consumption as a ritual, with a hint of irony.
